Upper radiator hose suggestion

I have a 1970 C20 with a 396 BB in it. I just received a Vintage Air sure-fit AC system for it. I have the alternator mounted on the passenger side and the power steering on the driver’s side. I am mounting the compressor on the driver’s side also and as per their instructions, I purchased a new radiator hose that was supposed to help clear the compressor.

The part number they suggest is GM # 3986380 ( Napa 7575 ).

I installed it and even cut the radiator side a bit shorter but it still doesn’t clear the compressor. Does anyone have a suggestion on another hose I could use that might have a 90 degree bent as soon as it exits the rad?

I have attached a couple of pictures showing how the hose comes out currently.
