Try loosening the rear bolts and just slightly loosening the fronts.Have someone push slightly up on the front of the hood and tighten the bolts.Shut the hood slowly and easily watching to be sure it doesn't hit the cowl or fenders.This should help lower the rear of the hood when shut.
