Re: 75 Dually build

I had a very busy weekend, but I did get some stuff done on the Cummins and it is close to going back in the truck. I am hoping early this week.

Saturday morning I cleaned the entire engine and got it ready for paint. Then once it was all cleaned I painted it and the valve covers. While all that dried I worked on the transmission throttle valve kick down cable. I do not have pictures of it, but will post some in the near future. Then I spent the rest of the day working on the heater inlet and outlet fittings. I added a temp sensor for the fans and had to spend some quality time in brass fittings isle at Home Depot...

With everything all cleaned up and now painted I decided tonight was time to put the turbo wrap on the down pipe and the turbo blanket on. I just took my time and tried to make it look decent. At least the exhaust heat should not melt the AC unit now.

Stay tuned!
