Installing vintage air compressor

I知 installing vintage air on my 70 c10. I知 trying to use the low mount compressor bracket the bolts to the factory fuel pump mounting surface on my SBC. It looks like I might have to cut some of the frame slightly to make the low mount compressor work. Just wondering if anyone has tried this before on our trucks. I知 probably going to have have fab up the bracket slightly to make it work.
