Question Crankcase ventilation

I've got an old pair of the SoCal type valve covers that I'd like to powder coat and use, but they have no holes for a PCV valve or other crankcase ventilation. (I want to keep them that way). I've seen show cars/trucks with no evident ventilation holes in the valve covers. Any ideas on just how this is done? Is there a PCV valve hole hidden in some way?
