Re: Symptoms of a burnt exhuast valve?

Hello everyone, I just wanted to update my thread. I got my new engine in and the truck is running great! I tore my old engine down and it was in pretty bad shape. Two cam lobes were completely flat, timing chain was stretched and rubbing the timing cover, the timing gear has two broken(plastic) teeth, and the cylinders have a noticeable ring ridge( it would need to be bored 30 over). I still might rebuild it this winter though and drop it back into my truck. If anyone is wondering, it is an original 4 bolt main.
