How to mount stock wheel tubs in raised bed
As the titles says, what is the best way to change the position (higher) of stock wheel tubs on a raised bed?
I’m raising my wood bed about 7” higher. I want to mont the tubs higher as well, and the angles do not match up. As I see it, there are 2 meathods. 1.) cut and reshape the tubs to meet the angle of the inner bedside. Use nut inserts to bolt it into the bedside at the new height. 2.) build a spacer and weld it to the bedside (also using threaded inserts) to be able to use the tubs in their stock form. Which of these options or other options would make the most sense? How have others completed this task? **note** All my panels are new reproductions, so there is no rust to worry about that may thin the metal.
