We actually DROVE the blazer today!!!

Yahhhh!!!!
Weekend progress included:
1.Installing the CD player/DVD player, flip down flatscreen TV and the speakers. (lots of wires & had to make a holder for the CD player in the glovebox)
2. New door weatherstripping
3. Put on the visors.
4. Put down front sound deadner and carpet
5. Installed the front seats.
6. Put in new brake, and gas pedal
7. Wired and installed the power window kit
2 WHOLE days worth of work! Whew! But......
We got in that baby and drove around the neighborhood(no seat belts yet so we didn't get to crazy) It was awesome!!!!
Now we need to change all the fluids and get the bugs worked out. Also have to finish the doors- still need the windows put in and handles on it. (We did the redneck testdrive.... bungee cords on the doors, but I couldn't wait to drive it!!!
I know these things are never done, but we are sure getting close!
Diane

P.S. here are some pics that I took this weekend....
