Stupid Question about placing engine mounts
This is my first time placing engine mounts and I need help with the order of operations.
5.3 LS, 4l60e, Flatout Crossmember in front, likely Flatout rear. I got a CTS V pan to help with fitment, and i want the engine mounted as close to the cab as possible without causing any heartache down the line. What comes first? Do I need to install the rear in order to get an angle from that? Should I install the steering column so I can shift the motor over if needed? The mounts are custom and therefore I have some freedom with the xyz axis. Thanks, Gents!
