Wire routing for overhead accessories?

Need some help on routing wires inside roof. My Custom Deluxe is bare bones and I need to run power in the roof for the running lights, mirror map lights and rear courtesy lamp. Is it possible to run wire down the A-Pillar or across the roof and down the rear pillar? I pulled the visor tonight and could only poke wire a limited distance. I'm thinking the metal is folded 90 degrees at the seams where the panels butt together. How did the factory do it?
