Finally

And that's all it takes to cause a transmission leak. Kinda hard to see but there's 2 knicks in the shaft. The was also some corrosion but I believe these were responsible for the majority of my leak.

I went thru several seal replacements before biting the bullet and draining the pan to change the shaft. I highly recommend replacing the transmission cross member since you're under there as well. Makes access to the back two trans pan bolt a breeze. Now to dive deeper into the speedo bullet. I've replaced the bullit and both the seals a few time but still have a drip.
