Stolen Truck Recovered - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Great news for one of our trucks and owner. I'm at my favorite boneyard today (its pretty big, many vehicals) and as I'm walking by the fenced off part (employees only area) I stopped dead in my tracks and saw a beautiful 71 or 72 Chev Custom/10 regular box in exellent unrestored condition. The first thing that entered my head was "THEY CANNOT PART THIS OUT"!!!!!! I immediatly went back to the office and asked what was up with the old girl and they said the RCMP (our police) recovered it as it was STOLEN and they were holding it for the owner who lives in Alberta (which is long distance from here, Kelowna B.C.). Hopefully the engine and drivetrain are ok in it still, but it was not wrecked judging by the shape it was in. Great news or what!!!
