Finally Up and Runnin'!

Finally got Truck up and running angain. Rerouted the power for the HEI from a spliced connection to the hazard flasher to the unfused IGN spade. Took off the fuse block and cleaned that particular contact on the back, so it is no longer intermittent, its now a good circuit.

Took out the ignition module and had it tested. Bad, so I replaced it. I also noticed that the contacts on the OEM distributor cap were aluminium, so I got a new cap and rotor with brass contacts.

Got it all back together and it fired up on the first try. LOTS more power than its had lately.

Its nice to have Truck working again, and pretty satisfying to have done it myself . . . with the help of various board members who helped me with troubleshooting ideas.
