Have been looking to buy this crate engine: (Chevy Performance 350@330 HP)

But today found this (Pace performance 350@260HP):

Item 2 would save me around $1200 between shipping, "serpentine kit", etc. but I would sacrifice 70 horsepower. Any way I can increase the horsepower of the pace engine at a low cost?

Between engine, accesory parts, and transmission, the GM route really pushes my budget... suggestion?
