Discolored Rear Window Chrome Beadlock

I was getting ready to install my rear window and discovered the clear plastic on the chrome beadlock was turning yellow. It had been in room temperature storage for 10 years. If it turned yellow in storage I can imagine how fast it would yellowed out in the open.

Has anybody had this problem? Anybody have experience with a beadlock that hasn't yellowed after it's been out in the weather?
