Bear claw install???
Ok, I got the large bear claw's installed in the 48 doors. It looks like this
IMG_2130 by Robert Moorman, on Flickr I'm still trying to figure out how to make that jamb plate look good or at least better. So while thinking about that I decided to try the new window channel with the installed Bear Claw latch. This picture shows the channel NOT sitting firmly against the outside edge of the door. IMG_2126 by Robert Moorman, on Flickr Looks like it is out about 3/8" IMG_2127 by Robert Moorman, on Flickr It is hitting latch at the opening in the window channel IMG_2128 by Robert Moorman, on Flickr At that rectangular hole. Is this a problem? If so, has anyone else had this problem and figured out a solution? I will call Trique Mfg tomorrow to discuss with them, maybe they have an idea of what to do.
