High hump differences

In the picture there is the ratty high hump from my 4WD 4 speed (granny low) truck and the nice sandblasted high hump from my parts truck a 2WD 4 speed. I know I can cut a hole for the 4WD lever. My question is will I have to modify the shifter hole? On the 4WD cover the hole is a further from the front and is an oval shape. The 2WD truck cover is more rectangular.

Thanks

Paul
