No Start Fix

My truck failed to start a few weeks ago, but when I went to check it out a week later, it started. Well, it failed to start again last Thursday. I checked for power at the starter, got a light. Pulled the starter and checked it on the bench, and it worked! OK, so I checked the wiring and the ignition switch. Turns out the my FiL (somebody?) had replaced the switch and somehow rotated the solenoid power wire 180° so that it didn't connect properly, and then crammed toothpicks into the socket so that it would make a connection. I cleaned that out and bought a new switch, since the contacts inside were toast. Never know what you're going to find in these old trucks. I laid it out to my wife that I ought to buy the AAW complete harness for 6 bones and make this rig right. There's so much M Mouse wiring that it's almost scary that the truck still works. I clean it up when I find it.
