Very quick update:

The weather reports keep lying to us; it was supposed to be 61 and sunny today, instead it was 50 and cloudy. Got a bit more blasting done last weekend as I was testing out the blaster.

Tonight I removed the top plate of the carburetor and cleaned out around the float. It was pretty dirty; hopefully that will fix the problem of gas overflowing from the carb. I will start it up in the morning and see if it works properly. I will also be more careful and make sure it's covered from when not in use from now on. I don't think I need a new float; hopefully that will be the case.
