adjusting doors

im trying to adjust my passenger side door, its rubbing up in the top back corner when i close it, im thinking that i need to loosen the bolts on the top hinge but its behind the fender, i figured if i loosened them i could lift on the back part of the door and then tighten them, that should stop the rubbing, but i cant get in there and i dont wanna take my front fender off, whats the trick guys?
