Wheel question with mix match of parts
So famous words
Building on a budget Trucks bagged and laying frame i need a pretty crazy offset and i don’t have the money to go buy custom wheels I have a friend that has a set of the LQ9 17” 8 hole wheels (i have always been a fan) and my wife loves them also. They use a 14 mm rh 1.5 stud and have a 78.03 hub bore. The offset works great when it’s aired out front and back. For the rear i am just going to bore out the wheel center to the correct 108mm My questions are for wheel studs and the front ccp drop spindles. I can’t find the bore size for the spindles or the lug size. In the rear i know the lugs are wrong (7/16) I have seen people post and not mention lug size and saying they bored other late model wheels out to fit the older large bore. Is there a easy way to convert to the 14 mm rh 1.5 studs? Or will i have to re drill (not a issue) And on the spindles does anyone know the hub bore and stud size? Trying to prep for everything to make sure this works. Input from people who have actually done this would be great. |
