Welcome! I second Ricks suggestion. Did the spindle drop on my '71 and it sits just right. I did blow it when I went with 5" dropped springs in the rear. No load bearing with those. Not that I'm likely to carry anything on the oak floor anyway. 255/60's front, 275/60's on the rear with 8' wheels.
