Solution for 1 speed wiper switch
Since it seems that I was unable to find anyone making a 1 speed wiper switch (2 speeds ones are available) I was able to "make" one that works just like the original.
Buy a 1 speed wiper switch for a '65 Chevy Chevelle. When you compare it to an original one, they are identical other than for the longer shaft. I took measurements from my original switch and used a Dremel cutoff wheel to trim it down. Then I took the wheel and after marking, I cut a groove to replicate the original one, to hold the knob. It mounts just like the stock one and has the same wire connection. Works great! Hope this helps someone.
