thanks bud looks like the dude in the video is using a newer version of what they gave me on my DVD, but regardless I am just unable to install that darn GM GDS2/Tech3 feature. I don't know what the problem is, I guess they probably want an old steam powered PC like a Windows 7 32-bit.

I have tried it on three computers now and no dice

1. Windows 10 64-bit
2. Windows 7 Starter (my trusty Netbook)
3. Windows 7 Home Edition but 64-bit

Option 4. Run Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit in VMWare Player on my Windows 10 host.

I even found and downloaded their troubleshooting utility called Techline System Analyzer and I am Failing the Operating System test.

and we thought carburetors and points distributors were bad !!! whaa ha ha
