Three-speed to auto column swap w/ power steering on a ‘62

Hey all, I’m fitting my rig with power steering. It’s a ‘62 and I used Captain Fabs brackets to get my gear box on. Now I’m looking at my columns. Im confused as to the intermediate shafts and the ends of the columns. The white one is my three-speed original column and the black one was advertised as 67-72 auto column. I even bought what was advertised as a 67-72 intermediate shaft. However, the column and the intermediate shaft for the 67-72 have different fittings. The column is splined while the intermediate looks like it wants a pin to lock into the column.

Can anybody explain what I have here and what I need to get my wheel to the gearbox?
