desert-rat Registered User Join Date: Jan 2013 Location: 3,018 feet above the SoCal/Mojave Desert region. Posts: 371	Difference between GMC and Chevy cabs? Few questions regarding '67-'72 cabs. I'm in need of a cab. Mine is a '69 GMC 3/4 ton. I think I'm over my head in rust. Any difference between years, weight (1/2 ton, 3/4 ton), LWB or SWB, GMC or Chevrolet?? Can I just swap GMC for a Chevrolet cab?? Thanks. It's gonna cost me more to do rust work than to buy a better, less rusted cab than mine. The shop started rust repair and it's one thing after another.
