I went to a conference one time and met a guy that breeds birds of prey. I guess they control the genetics of the bird just like you would a race horse. Very lucrative profession.

I mentioned it to my son - who is a pilot for Delta - and he was familiar with it. He said those guys will buy a first class seat for the bird so they can sit next to it when they travel.
