292 flywheel/clutch/crankshaft dilemma.

Hey all, here's the skinny. I have a freshly rebuilt 292 for my dads 64 c10 LWB sitting on my engine stand. New crankshaft, camshaft, bored over, the whole 9. The crankshaft flange has 1/2" holes. I have brand new 12-point ARP 1/2" bolts to match. I have a brand new LUK Repset 11" clutch kit(pressure plate, throw out bearing, disc,) the flywheel I sent to the machinist to have him resurface has 7/16" holes...
From what i read on this site is yes, i can drill out the flywheel holes to 1/2"

Ok, Maybe a stupid question maybe not, should i use a drill press to enlarge the holes, or can I get away with using my miluakee M18 drill and a new 1/2" carbide drill bit with cutting oil?
Trying to get this figured out ASAP as I'm planning on dropping the motor back in to the truck like tommorow, or As soon as I can. Lol.
Thanks in advance.
