NV4500 Installation Questions - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Hello, all. I pulled my SM465 and 205 this past weekend and plan to put in a NV4500 with the advanced adapters t-case and bell housing adapters. My questions for those that have done this:

Can I leave the engine where it is or do I have to move it up?( I’d rather not move it)
Will the original transmission crossmember work and does it have to be moved back?

Is it going to be a problem fitting the t-case shifter? I have bucket seats with a console.

This is on a 72 Blazer with a GM 383HT crate motor.
