Color Choice for my truck - thoughts? - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

OK, the previous owner of my truck had painted the truck "fire engine red", but his prep before the paintjob was poor. The body has been all cleaned up and is about ready for re-paint, I plan on shooting it Red again...love red!

The truck in question is a 1967 GMC Longbed Stepside, after painting it I want to get some good ole Cragar SS rims for it.

Anybody think a different color would be better? unfortunately all my pics got destroyed (long story) so if you have a pic of a truck the color you are suggesting that would be GREAT.

One final note, I don't llike the flat black look so please don't suggest that!
