1964 c10 mechanical clutch linkage help.

Hi everyone, I'm at the point of installing the clutch linkage for my dads 1964 c10 with 292 and sm420. The truck originally had a 250 with the sm420. But the linkage was Mickey moused together with bailing wire and nails. So I have no reference to base the assembly off of. I did find a few diagrams online and I do have the factory service manual but it's kinda vague on a few things. Like the white nylon ball stud seats. I have 3 of them. In what order are the assembled and which direction? They are tapered on both sides. One more than the other. Where do the felt washers go? Before or after the retaingin ring on the frame side? Does the engine ball stud get a nylon seat and a felt washer? Please help!!!!
