Where do i get front brake hoses?
Where can i find front brake hoses for my '72 C10 with disc front brakes? None of the auto parts stores around here can get them, i bought a pair from LMC (yeah i know, but i've had good luck with them in the past) and they don't fit. The hex part of the hose end where it connects to the hard metal line is too big to fit through the bracket on the upper A arm, and there is a clip on them that is totally different than the stock clip. I doubt they sent me the wrong part, since the part number on the bag they came in is the same as the PN listed in the magazine.
There is a place about an hour and a half away that i hear can make me a hose, but i would need to borrow a vehicle to go up there or bum a ride. I need to use my truck for work, so i am SOL until it is back on the road. Anyone know of a supplier for the lines, besides LMC?
