Possible to build a c10 with no original parts?
Just asking for curiosity sake.
Would it be possible assemble a new truck using 100% aftermarket parts available today? (Parts from small fabrication shops would be acceptable as long as the parts they were offering are commercially available to an average consumer. No 'one off' or custom made parts for the project). I am not talking a perfect, exact showroom reproduction of a 67-72 as would of been on a floor in the 60s/70s but a running/driving truck that anyone would recognize as a c10. Something like a modern LS based engine and running gear is fine as long as it would bolt into the chassis without fabbing custom motor mounts. So is there enough available aftermarket parts to assemble an entire working truck with no vintage parts? Just wondering.... ~JH |
