Talking Crossmember swap?

I scored a complete crossmember and disc setup, brake booster and 12 bolt ,3.73 posi out of a 78 this weekend, all for 500 bones. Now i need to get em under the truck. I know theres got to be a few posts about the front crossmember swap on the board but i searched and couldn't find em, so maybe somebody can point me in the right direction or just answer my questions.
I'm just wondering if its worth the effort to pull the motor to throw the crossmember in, and if i can expect any other major complications other than drillin out a couple holes.
and for the rearend, if there anything special i need to tell the guy when i get my spring perches welded on for the coil spring rear end?
