Oil Pan Hardware & Gaskets ?

2 IN 1 THREAD HERE

______________________________________________

Oil Pan Hardware:
What do you prefer and why.
Oil pan bolts or the stud and nut kits.

The stud kits make it easier to hold everything in place during assembly, but is there any other advantage?

This is probably a stupid question, but Ill ask it anyway.
When you use the stud and nut kits how do you get the stud tight?
If you use the nut to tighten the stud then when you remove the nut wont the stud come loose too?
Do you double nut the stud and tighten it, then Bust The Nuts loose?

Oil Pan Gasket (1-piece)
Which 1-piece oil pan gasket are you using, which is the best.

I want to keep passenger side dip stick.
Also would prefer rubber/silicone type.
