I haven't gotten that far yet but I have started gathering the components to swap my '70 to an LS1/4L60E/241C.....
I bought a kit for the 241C to eliminate the slip yoke....
it will shorten it somewhat and allow me to use a double cardan joint at the front...
I don't anticipate any issues with this combo
I don't plan on doing any serious off-roading....so the 241C will be fine..although not as robust.....it has a deeper ratio than the NP205..... 2.72:1 vs 1.96:1

I kinda mocked it up with an empty transmission for some preliminary fitment
