Re: Sold at Colorado Auction for $8000

I noticed the driver's side mirror arm extension in the first photo. The short arms put the round mirrors right in line with the vent window frame (at least when I put one on my '61 Suburban). I've heard there was also something to do with them changing to clear the line-of-sight around the fender-mount spare tire. Not sure about that. Either way, that looks like a factory piece that hangs the square mirrors out further.
