At the 1973 NSRA Street Rod Nationals in Tulsa I could count the AD trucks on one hand out of 3000 vehicles. I'd imagine that there were over a hundred at this years Nationals in Louisville. Far more cars there with a count over 11K but the trucks have gained a lot of popularity over the years. One of the best aftermarket support systems for one model of Vehicle helps a lot though.
With those bigger trucks like the yellow one holding the sign at least here in the PNW a lot of those trucks only got worked maybe two months out of the year during harvest and were tucked back in the equipment shed until the next year. Some on farms that had a larger variety of crops may have been used more but West of the Mississippi you can figure that thousands only got used during wheat or corn harvest.
