A tale of two ash trays

Well, again it seems I didn’t do my homework well enough on our trucks. I had purchased a used ash tray hoping to restore, but it is a bit too rough for my liking. Then I bought another really nice original, not realizing it was not the ball bearing type. I looked at some threads here on the differences between them. I have a ‘68 truck. I checked and I can remove the original housing, but would anyone happen to have the slider type housing to match what I bought that they would like to part with? Would that type attach the same way as the other? Thanks for any help. Attaching photos of the rough one and the better one I came up with
