Polyurethane cab mount questions

I'm in the process of installing new cab mounts on my truck. I purchased a set of Energy suspension body mounts. The instructions that came with the set says to reuse the existing hardware. From the illustration on the instructions it shows a "Factory Sleeve" (upper) and a "Factory Washer" (lower). The lower washer is no problem. It is listed in the LMC catalog and I am sure it will be available at the dealer. The upper washer is what I'm not sure about. I've looked in several catalogs I have laying around (LMC, Chevy Duty, Classic Industries) and this upper metal sleeve/washer seems to be part of the upper cushion on the stock body mounts. Do I just burn off the rubber on the original mounts and reuse the metal part? I want to have all of the parts ready to go when I start the job. Thanks for the help.
