Big block motor mount confusion

63 GMC 1000

Well, I thought I was getting the right 73-87 clamshell mounts, but maybe I got the wrong ones. I've seen some posts about having to add a 1" spacer under the frame side on some, but I thought I was getting the right ones that don't need the spacer. Can anyone tell where I went wrong?

I also have a set of small block mounts, but putting them up to the frame make it look like I would need a 1" spacer as well? I'm kinda confused.
