Is there any way to tell options from weight tags?

Just a question for some of the gurus: if you are looking at buying a truck, have a truck with no spid sheet, or for whatever reason want to know what options your truck has and all you have to look at is your vin/weight tag on a 1970-1972 c10/k10; what can you learn? Does the front axle/rear axle weights tell you if it's a short bed or long bed? Is there anyway to tell it had heavy duty spring? Big block, small block, ac? If anyone knows I'd love to learn? Thanks!
