Lower A-arm shaft help.

Hi guys,

I may have installed my lower a-arm shaft wrong. Instead of having the dimple towards the front, I had installed it toward the back. I know that the dimple should line up with the stud on the crossmember, but he rear u-bolt mount has the stud also. I know that the caps on the end should be 1 1/4" from the edge of the a-arm, but does it matter which side the dimple is on?

My second question is how much play does the shaft have when it is torqued down? I installed mine and it doesn't rotate freely. I don't remember how it was when I removed them last year.

tia,
Jay
