Cool 1968 c10 lS swap

Hello everyone,
I got a 1968 c10. I recently did a LS swap.I have the porterbuilt extream setup with rack n pinion and I have a set of shorty hedman headers. Im having clearance issues for the rod that connects the steering column. Has anyone had this issue. And what did you do to solve it. Pics would be great so I can get an idea of what to do. Thanks in advanced
