That is really exactly the same electrical setup I have. I have a bus bar distribution with 6awg, heavy grounds, etc, high amp stuff and wiring is all sized appropriately (I am an EE, so I really put some thought into it to make sure I was covered). I see from your picture though, it looks like your alternator is probably a newer cs130 style?? Supposedly they output better at idle than the older 10si units.
Also, what fan setup are you using? Any idea much current they draw?
