my radio and need an antenna

This is what was in the truck. My friend was in High End Audio 40 plus years ago and referred to this brand as Fry an Ear. Then nother friend said its actually not too bad for the day. I hooked up some home speaker to it and it sounded fairly decent compared to the speakers down at my feat. My ankles have always been hard of hearing.

I put in a cassette and not too bad for a few minutes then it stopped. Removing it was interesting sort of like when I go to use an extension cord.

Some kind soul snapped my antenna off, I guess he was hoping to help me get better gas mileage. With a 411 rear it didnt help much.

I have the original antenna just the shaft not the base and it was Am. I guess I wander into a stereo shop. Might have been a CB radio as well not sure there are some hook up things there.

The original antenna is very fine with a ball on the end and was an AM radio, was the FM one the same just a different base and wiring?
