Unhappy '68 k10 motor swapping?

I'm having some trouble finding info on motor swaps. I have one of two things I can do with my truck

I have a 68 chevy k10 4x4 with a 283 and 4 speed I would like to put in a 350 i have but it doesn't have the stud for the clutch linkage

I could also put in a 292 out of a 67 I have since it is a manual.

I don't know what I need for these could someone help
