65chevysub Registered User Join Date: Feb 2013 Location: Cottonwood, Arizona Posts: 1,388	Speedometer question The speedometer in my 84 GMC 2500 doesn't work, so I hooked the trans end to my cordless drill and turned it that way, slowly, and it works. Could it be the plastic gear in the trans that is bad? If so, how do I replace it? Thanks
