Re: Seems Like Yesterday "Flashback Tornado"
That was not only hard wind, but very turbulent. That's the only time high winds affect my well sheltered place at the base of the western side of Parrs Ridge (divides the piedmont). That roar of wind migrated all around the valley. I hear the wind roar through the trees above me, but this time it could get quite in my immediate area and the roar way off in the distance. Then the freight train came rollin' down the track and stir my place up a while as it passed. Lots of broken trees. We've been dry all month, so trees were breaking rather than uprooted.
