1-ton of fun polishing a turd Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: houston, tx Posts: 687	4x4/lifted task force leaf spring source? I’ve decided to do a 4x4 conversion on my build since the truck is going to reside in Colorado. Has anybody gotten taller than stock leaf springs to lift the truck? It seems like you get 4” or so of lift just putting a live axle under the truck with stock springs, so looking for another 4” or so to make plenty of room for tires. Also has anybody mounted up a 37” tire on a task force truck?
